Discount Program
In July of 1995, after a little more than four years of existence The Actors' Network was about 80 plus members strong. It was at that time that Kevin and Paulo decided to reach out to the actor retailers, and make a request to discount their services. While it is hard to imagine, it was true, there was not one group discount program anywhere in all of Hollywood for any body of actors. The Actors' Network was indeed the first organized group of actors to create a citywide Discount Program for its members.
Now, several years later even the Screen Actors Guild has a Discount Program along with a handful of other groups. We are very proud to have been the first in over 65 years of Hollywood at that time to say… "Hey, we need a discount because we’re a big part of the Hollywood economy." And so it was born and so it lives. When you’re an active member of The Actors' Network, these fine places will give you a deal. Doesn’t matter whether their service is actor-related or not, we’ll take the break.
