A press release is a professional publicity oriented announcement. It is not a Victory, a Testimonial nor an Event. The purpose of this portion of the Actors' Network website is to give members the opportunity to create a Press Release history for themselves and for marketing purposes.

Remember, to book a TV or Film or get representation...is a Victory, to be on stage...a Performance, but a Press Release is a third person text about you, as if written by someone else that presents information in a certain way. (ie, Bob Smith earns an Ovation award for his portrayal of, Nellie, at the Ahmanson). Notice that this is not about attending the job you booked...it is about splash, hype, result knowledge and the type of language we use. This is what distinguishes a Victory or mere booking...from a Press Release.
